Ch. Rysan's Kirin of Tydaky
By 1990, Rich and I were looking for another
female to continue our breeding program. We decided to bring another Watney daughter into
our program, since this offered the opportunity for line breedings in the future. Kirin
was shipped to us in the winter of 1991 by Maurice and Carol Krohn, and immediately
settled into our household. She has exceeded all our expectations in both the show ring
and the whelping box. Kirin completed her Championship at the American Spaniel Club show
in January, 1993, where she took WB, BoW, and BoS. She has produced 4 champions and has an
additional 3 kids already pointed--we expect them to finish over the next 12-18 months. We
shared Kirin with the Krohn's for a breeding to their Ch. Tydaky's Wildfire, and are proud
to own a Wildfire x Kirin daughter--Ch. Rysan's Wild Design O'Tydaky. Kirin now lives with Diane and
Bob Edgett, where she regularly displaces the Collies and cats for her share of pets and
ear scratches.
